Biggest Ever KCR’s Public Address in Hyderabad

In a move to send a strong signal that TRS emerged a strong political force after the formation of Telangana, the ruling party President and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao will organise a mammoth public meeting in December this year.

The objective of the meeting is to showcase the party’s strong hold in all 31 districts and send a message that people also rallying behind the TRS by attracting the welfare and development schemes launched by KCR in the last two years.

It is expected that nearly 15 lakh people will attend the meeting which is to be one of the biggest ever public meetings organised by any party in the country.

Before the meeting, KCR has planned to constitute the party’s district committees for all 31 districts  and also a strong state executive in a month time. To keep the flock together and also appease the senior leaders who are eagerly waiting for posts, KCR had reportedly decided to fill all the nominated posts in a fortnight.

As a first step towards strengthening the party, KCR held a meeting with Finance minister E Rajendar and discussed the formation of party committees in Karimnagar district. The TRS Chief told the minister that the district party committees would be created with 24 members including President and General Secretaries in big districts having population more than 10 lakhs. The strength of the committees in small districts would not cross 15 members.

‘KCR wanted to give a direction to his party cadre and leadership and make them ready to sweep the 2019 elections,’ a senior leader said.
